The disjoint between the Dr. Seuss style illustrations and the non-rhyming text is strong. Otherwise passable, no better. ( ) Summary: This story teaches children how to vote and the importance of voting. It gives step by step instructions on how to go vote when it is that time of year. It explains why we need to vote and how if we do not vote then we are losing our voice. Personal Reaction: Very educational book. Children need to know about the importance of voting so when they get older they will use their voice. This is even a book that adults need to read too so they can understand that not voting takes away from our rights. You have to vote if you want your voice heard. Classroom Ideas: 1. Discuss with the students what they learned from the story. 2. Give the students a chance to vote for something so they can go through the voting process. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
