Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Most of these concepts I've seen done elsewhere - but for all I know Dickson was the first. Eh, you know if you're a Dickson fan or a short story fan, or not. That is to say, if you're a fan of the author or of the genre, and you can find this at the library or thrift store, read it. Don't pay for it. My opinion. ( ) It's really a collection of some of Dickson's finest short stories, listed below. They were published in years ranging from 1951 to 1969. While the book takes its title from the most recent short story ("Ancient, My Enemy" was published in 1969), I most recommend "In The Bone" as my own favorite. His prose is always rich, and worth reading for the pleasure of it, but that particular story will stay with you (at least it's stayed with me). Ancient, My Enemy (1969) The Odd Ones (1955) The Monkey Wrench (1951) Tiger Green (1965) The Friendly Man (1951) Love Me True (1961) Our First Death (1955) In the Bone (1966) The Bleak and Barren Land (1953) Indeholder "Ancient, My Enemy", "The Odd Ones", "The Monkey Wrench", "Tiger Green", "The Friendly Man", "Love Me True", "Our First Death", "In The Bone", "The Bleak and Barren Land".
