Isn't that they way? We've got the Dangerous Mr. Wolf, the Very Dangerous Mr. Snake, the Extremely Dangerous Mr. Piranha, and the Ridiculously Dangerous Mr. Shark. An unlikely quartet, sure. Yet, it's true. Four misunderstood fellas just trying to live their lives, yet the world calls them "bad'. Ever try to do something good and have it twisted into the most super-villany thing you can envision? That's what these Bad Guys, er, Good Guys are dealing with. A true to life telling that I think most kids (and adults) can relate to in the most hilarious way. This was a quick read for me, a self-proclaimed adult. The illustrations were humorous too! I think it moved along at a pace that would be right to keep a child just grasping chapter books interested. Thumbs up on this one! I got this on recommendation from a local bookseller and it is hilarious. Mr Wolf is the driving force in deciding that he's had enough of being considered a bad guy so he (and his friends) are going to be good guys instead. It's just a shame that no-one got the memo. Typical bad guys lead by one Wolf decided to make the Good Guys Club and go about rescuing those in need. However while the Bad Guys are trying their hardest to be Good, others only see it as bad. This books mission is to save a cat up a tree, and rescue the dogs in the pound. But what will everyone else think? If you have a reluctant reader needing easy chapters, then pick up this series.
