Little Rabbit's realizes that everyone who has feelings, whether young or not, cries from time to time for all kinds of reasons, even when they are happy ,and crying can be a good way to show one's feelings. Turning five, Little Rabbit only wants to invite people who are so big now they don't cry anymore. But he has trouble finding anyone to come. Even his mother admits she oftens cries -- for both sad and happy reasons. So even though he's turning five, he realizes that you're never too old to cry sometimes. Rabbit is having a birthday party and since he is 5 now he wants only people who don't cry to come to his birthday party. As he invites all of his friends he realizes that none of them can come to his birthday party because they still cry for different reasons like being scared, getting hurt and even when they are happy. After his mom talks to him about how she still cries and tells him it is okay to cry he decides to invite all of his friends to his birthday party whether they still cry or not.
