( ) Repo Madness was an entertaining read. Not high literature, but it kept me turning pages until the end. McCann is a repo man with a record. I am not sure if he has appeared in other Cameron books. I suspect he has. It was good that the character jumped in and did the exact wrong thing common sense would suggest. However, I did not feel the connection this character was supposed to have with the other characters such as his fiance. The story opens with why he went to prison- for the manslaughter death of a young girl. This was part of the mystery and good. The trouble is that McCann's actions caused the deaths of other people. Not directly, but indirectly through not asking for the police to help. This book picks up shortly after the Midnight Plan of the Repo Man so I would recommend reading that one before you try this. For this go around Ruddy McCann still can't seem to catch a break as this time he is on the trail of a possible serial killer. You just can't help rooting for him to finally have life go his way. Plenty of humor and quirky characters make this a fun summer read. In the acknowledgments the author teases us that they may be another book. I am hoping he does wrap the the few loose ends and give us one last adventure for our favorite repo man! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
