I enjoyed these books when I was in fifth grade but as i grew older they seemed lame. I was anoyed that the characters were perpetually stuck in 7th grade. Had they grown as I did I may have ontinued to enjoy them but as I grew past them i viewed the girls troubles as lame and immature. I was disgusted when I attended a party with the author and found that there was no Annie Bryant. The person speaking continued to say that the authors behind the books only wanted to get them out as fast as possible so they could make money. I thought of a factory and immediately stopped reading the series. I wonder at the quality of a book produced purely to make money. ( )
