I didn't know this was set in Virginia, so that was a pleasant surprise. I liked that she has aspirations to be a doctor (like Elizabeth Blackwell, First Woman Doctor) and learns to look past her first impressions to make a new friend. The characters were well-written, and even her family felt authentic. Several plot points were entertaining and kept me amused the whole time I was reading. ( ![]() 00014559 Great for early readers. The original Moody adventure introduces us to our temperamental leading lady as she greets Grade 3T with less than an open mind. Good thing Mr. Todd is a smart fella and knows just how to bring out the best in his students while having them connect more with one another. **copy received for review Judy was in a bad mood and taking it out on everyone. Sometimes someone did something she liked and it put her in a good mood until something happened she didn't like then she was back in a bad mood. I enjoyed this book. It was funny and the illustrations were great. I like the world building here. As an adult I would enjoy revisiting Judy's world. I liked Stink (what a name) and Rocky. I also thought it was good that Judy had to revise her opinion about Frank Pearl! As I buy this series for a great niece I know I'll be reading them first! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
