ERB doesn't write classic literature, but tells one huluva great story, complete with chases, captures, switches, and he keeps the reader going forward so well that most simply do not care that Tarzasn dies twice in this story, but miraculously comes alive again with no exp-0lanation, and a lie told in the middle of the book turns out to be the convenient truth at the end to cover for a love affair that simply must finish the book. The critics call it "forumla writingt," but just as Coca-Cola has triumphed for5 more than a century simply by keeping its name in front of the public and keeping its basic formula, so does ERB's work continue. As long as boys will be boys, who dream of being the strongest beast in the jungle, Tarzan will coninue. This book is full of what you would expect from a Tarzan book: jungle adventure, damsels in distress, and tree-swinging galore. In this particuar adventure Tarzan takes on the murderous Leopard Men, finally ridding the jungle of their evil menace. Rapid Rating: If you are a Tarzan fan you have probably already read this. If not, you probably will not like it. www.comingstobrazil.com Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

The steel-clawed Leopard Men were looking for victims for their savage rites. The secret cult struck terror in the hearts of all the villagers. Only Orando of the Utengi dared to declare war on them. And with Orando went Tarzan of the Apes -- but a strangely changed Tarzan, who now believed that he was Muzimo, the spirit or demon who had been Orando's ancestor. There were traitors among Orando's people. And in the village of the Leopard Men was Kali Bwana, the white girl who had come to Africa to find a missing man. Only Tarzan could save her....
