I was looking forward to this volume and was very disappointed. Large portions are lifted out of other works and quoted at length. They are attributed for sure but the passages are so long they actually seem to take the place of the authors voice. In addition Chambers made the questionable decision to use large parts of Mitsuo Fuchida's autobiography at a time when most historians would steer clear of such an unreliable source. I really hope Osprey gives another author a chance at the subject matter. ( )
