This book is a sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. This book is about a dream the little girl had that to her to a magical place. Then when her Grandpa returned home there were many similarities between where the grandpa had been and where the little girls dream was.

Summary: This book is about this little boy who gets caught day dreaming about an island, (which in his world, exists) that has food instead of weather. This is the sequel to Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and tells the story of what this child imagines what happens after everyone leaves the island. She thinks that the food gets shipped off all around the world to help feed others. For instance the chili goes to Chile, the pears to Paris and the pickles to Pittsburg.
Genre: I would say that this book is science fiction, because it makes something that is so natural to us, the weather and turns it into something that can't really happen, but makes it possible due to science and the way things work. There is talk of a future world that is very different of the one here.
