Another great book by Steve Jenkins, this one explains how animals communicate in different ways. Collages of cut and torn paper make up the illustrations in this informative text. ( ) This is a great book all about how animals communicate. Whether trying to warn of danger, find a mate, stay in a group, or let others of their kind know where food is located, animals all have very specific means of communicating. This book is very interesting and full of gorgeous torn paper collages of each animal. Classroom connection: Animals, communication This is a book about the various ways animals communicate through slapping, squeaking and scattering. This is an interesting fact book. It was fun to learn about why a cat rubs its head on its owner. It's not affection but a way to communicate with other cats that that person belongs to it. I think boys will enjoy this informative book and girls will be interested to learn about various ways of communication. It would be fun to have students research various ways animals communicate and then act out those ways. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
