Roman's a body guard and Suzanne's brothers have hired him after her company and her phone have been digitally attacked. It's a classic bodyguard romance but it's sweet and tender and we get to see a lot of other Sullivan's.

My Thoughts....

This was a wonderful second in the series of the New York Sullivan's reads. I liked how this author gives the readers one interesting lovable read that featured Suzanne Sullivan and Roman Huson. Would I like to have Roman for my 'bodyguard' oh well, that's another story but for Suzanne she simply wasn't having it. What had her brother's [Alex, Harry & Drake] gone behind her back done in order to keep her safe? Will Roman be able to deal with Suzanne in her not wanting him around? What did Suzanne plan on doing to Roman that would send him running? What will happen when there is a twist in this story that will have the readers saying yummy with all that chemistry that comes about for these two [Suzanne and Roman]. Will Roman be able to keep Suzanne safe? Do you think that these two Suzanne and Roman finally get a HEA? Well, to get all of these questions answered and so much more you will have to pick up this wonderful well written series to see how this author brings it out for her readers. The characters were so very well developed with a entrancing story giving the readers one spectacular read that goes so well with all the other Sullivan reads. Be ready for some passionate romance, drama, mystery, close family and friends. Would I recommend? YES!

What happens when you take an intelligent, strong Sullivan woman & tell her she needs tall, dark, handsome, alpha Roman as her bodyguard & that you've hired him without her permission? Sparks fly, tempers flare & passions rise! This book is hot!! From the first meeting between Roman & Suzanne, the chemistry just flew off the page & each encounter just got hotter. I loved both characters! Roman is strong, passionate & fierce but also has a sensitive, protective side. Even though he stubbornly feels he doesn't deserve a woman to love because of his history in boxing & his parents relationship, he doesn't have a chance. Suzanne was angry with her brothers for hiring Roman & acting like she can't protect herself. As each incident happens, she begins to see how narrow her view is & what she's missed. In all of these stories, we've seen how the Sullivan's are a large spread out family that pulls together whenever one of them needs the others. It's quite a contrast to Romans father when we are introduced to him. I really can't wait to see who manages to bring arrogant Alec to his knees!!! ( )

This is the second in the New York City Sullivan series and it was as good if not better than the first. You immediately get into the story and can’t put the book down. Bella Andre has a way of writing that pulls you into the story. Her descriptions of the characters and scenery are spot on.

In this book, Suzanne Sullivan starts having attacks on her software company and maybe on herself personally. So her take charge brothers hire a bodyguard, Roman Huson, to watch over her. And watch over her he does. They immediately feel sparks and she tries her best to get him fired while he’s trying his best to remain professional and not cross the line. But for the two of them, that’s easier said than done. Throughout the story you learn of the other Sullivan’s and how much family means to them all.

The story is sweet, sexy and a great read. I’m thankful I was given a digital copy for an honest review. I highly recommend this book along with the first one. ( )
