A book about acceptance and not being quite what others think you are. Who doesn't love narwhals? Or unicorns? ( )

This book is great for accepting differences and what might be considered 'weird' about ourselves. ( )

This book is just too cute for words. I am absolutely in love with Kelp, the storyline, and the illustrations. And I will forever call unicorns "LAND NARWHALS!" now. :) ( )

Kelp does not feel like he fits in with all the Narwhals in the ocean. He then sees someone that looks like him on land and goes on a journey to find them. He finds "land Narwhals" that are actually called unicorns. Kelps could not believe it but he missed his Narwhal friends and returned home. This is a sweet book to show a classroom that can be good show a tory about uncertainty about ones self. ( )
