Definitely been on a winning streak with my reading selections lately, and A Life Lived Outdoors: Reflections of a Maine Sportsman by George Smith has done nothing to change that. Really, dipping into this collection of columns about the Maine outdoors is as refreshing and enjoyable as taking a weekend upcountry. There’s humor, and sentiment and a clear-eyed accuracy that makes every paragraph a pleasure. Highly recommended! ( )
