S'està carregant… How to Bang a Billionairede Alexis Hall
![]() Cap No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. I love the story, but didn't realize this was just the first part (until I finished reading it). There is so much potential for a bit more to happen. Take the assistant for instance. I did not like the sister at all. I found this a bit light and frothy but quite enjoyable. I love Arden's (lack of) fashion sense, and there are some things I'm eager to see resolved, so I'll definitely be reading the next in the series. It doesn't have the depth of, for example, For Real, but I have no regrets. Ardy was charming, in his own way, for the first half of the book, after that his ramblings just got annoying. To me as a character Caspian is so much more interesting. But due to the non-communication I feel like the story wasn't going anywhere. Especially because Caspian told Ardy his terms and Ardy said he understands and accepts them. But I don't think he truly understood what Caspian was asking, even though it was so simple: I also couldn't decide if the author loved 50 Shades of Grey so much, that this story is a homage to that book, or is it supposed to be a mockery. I kind of feel like it's a it of both. No BDSM in this first instalment yet though. Sooo I am not sure I will continue the series. I wasn't that enamored. I spent most of the book rolling my eyes at Arden because I was under the impression he didn't really like Caspian, just the image he was projecting of how he wished Caspian was. When Arden himself said it, it somehow makes me feel better about the whole story~ “It wasn’t like that. It was messed up in this totally uncool way. I got caught up in this mirage of who I thought he was. And I kept stumbling after it, believing in it, like a complete dongle, and letting him hurt me over and over and over again.” I'm still not sold on Caspian's sincerity though, so I'm looking forward to some character redemption in the next installation. Rules are made to be broken . . . If England had yearbooks, I'd probably be "Arden St. Ives: Man Least Likely to Set the World on Fire." So far, I haven't. I've no idea what I'm doing at Oxford, no idea what I'm going to do next and, until a week ago, I had no idea who Caspian Hart was. Turns out, he's brilliant, beautiful . . . oh yeah, and a billionaire. It's impossible not to be captivated by someone like that. But Caspian Hart makes his own rules. And he has a lot of them. About when I can be with him. What I can do with him. And when he'll be through with me. I'm good at doing what I'm told in the bedroom. The rest of the time, not so much. And now that Caspian's shown me glimpses of the man behind the billionaire I know it's him I want. Not his wealth, not his status. Him. Except that might be the one thing he doesn't have the power to give me. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

One serious peeve with the audiobook production... DO NOT muffle the last words of the book with a seriously crappy and distracting music overlay. Just... DO NOT! (
