3065 How far from Austerlitz? Napoleon 1805-1815, by Alistair Horne (read 8 Apr 1998) This is a great book, as every book I have read by Horne is. (Two of his books--The Price of Glory and A Savage War of Peace--have been the best book read in the years in which they were read (1964 and 1978)). This book is superlative, telling the well-known story of Napoleon from 1805 to 1815. The story never drags, and ;the comments are fresh and worthwhile. (
