The story was interesting overall. However, it was also cheesy, and not in the cute way. Also, the author made some strange...mistakes or typos or writing choices...I'm not sure which. And it detracted from the story. I did enjoy it, for the most part, but I'm very glad it's not part of a series. ( )

I'm pretty sure I got this book from a friend, though I don't see that she rated it on here, so I might be mistaken.

The opening was not the attention grabbing type I'm used to for a suspense book. Lauren and her mom Nina are traveling to San Francisco for a girls weekend, and Nina is trying to get Lauren interested in the pilot. Also on the plane are a female copilot and several business executives.

Sabotage takes the plane down and evidence points to someone on the plane being a saboteur. I didn't guess who it was before the author revealed it, but that is rather normal for me as a reader. Once they got into the mining town, the action picked up and I grew to care about the three main focus characters. ( )
