This was such a creative book. the little i goes on ajourney to find its dot. the alphabet waves goodbye to it and spells BEST OF LUCK as little i leaves. It sails on a question mark and arrives to an islandwith an exclamation pont waterfall, a parenthesis tunnel and crops of commas. the little i finds its dot but something has changed...like we all do, she has grown out fromthis experience and returns to the alphabet not any more as little i but as I. When his dot falls off and tumbles into the sea, Little i sets out to find it again, voyaging across the waves to an island where he encounters a waterfall of exclamation points, a cavern with asterisk gems, and a garden of comma-sprouts. Experiencing excitement, wonder, and taking many pauses (in the garden, of course), Little i eventually finds his dot. But somehow, it no longer seems to fit. What has happened to change our letter hero...? A sweet story of growth and change, one that uses letters and punctuation marks in fun and creative ways, Little i can be read as an entertaining adventure story, but also serves as an introduction to the idea of lower and uppercase letters, and the function of various punctuation marks. Like author/illustrator Michael Hall's other picture-books, it features appealing, colorful artwork, created using paper collage, and put together digitally. Recommended to Michael Hall fans, and to anyone looking for children's stories about letters, punctuation, and/or growth. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

When Little i's dot falls off, rolls down a hill, over a cliff, and into the sea, Little i sets out on a journey to rescue it. With a playful focus on the alphabet, spelling, and simple punctuation, this quest story about letters, self-confidence, belonging, and growing up is a great choice for the classroom, library story-hours, and bedtime.
