Fun juvenille read about a daughter whose father leaves her home to go treasure hunting. Her first run in with a neighborhood kid gets her blacklisted. However, the neighbor Billy takes pity and befriends her. Together they attempt to uncover the mystery of the previous owner of the house and his missing million dollars. Twists, turns, humor and a little horro make this a pleasurable quick read!

This book is about a new kid who moves in on a 'haunted mansion', and starts a treasure hunt with her friend. Trying to find the hidden treasure, the two kids (Billy & Angel) are involved in many different situations. Billy & Angel have to bake dessert for Mrs.Jennings, convice the neighboorhood that Angel didn't break someone's leg, go to a baseball game, find a map, get clues to the mystery, shovel Angel's whole backyard & etc. Then again, they achived a lot, they found a map, secret entrance & discovered that the mansion wasn't haunted after all. Billy & angel also got to find the millioon dallor treasure that they were seeking all along. ( )
