In the course of the years, from 1920 to 1925, the author of this volume has published through the National Eisteddfod Association a series of studies dealing with the religious history of Wales in the seventeenth century.

Introductory note.

This work is a continuation of the author's previous in the religious history of history of Wales in the 17th century - one dealing with Welsh Puritanism up to the expiry of the Propagation Act, another taking the story from the appointment of the Triers to the passing of the Act of Uniformity in 1662, and a third dealing with the incidence of the Penal Code from 1662 to 1687.
