This started off cute, and I was totally digging it. Loved the main characters. Thought the best friend ("fairy godmother" role) was a bit annoying, but I could live with it. And then the ending took a hard left turn to crazypants and while I'm glad Isabella and Chase got their HEA, that ending was... yeah. Crazypants and totally out of left field. ( )

This was a delightful twist to the Cinderella fairy tale. In this version both Isabella and Chase were flawed people, haunted by insecurities and peer pressure. A great read for youngsters as well as anybody who loves YA. ( )

4.5 Stars!

This is the best Cinderella retelling I've read in a while. I was a little nervous at the beginning, because it seemed so run of the mill. But it picked up, and I couldn't put it down. At one point the story seemed like it had a false climax, and I was let down because it was anticlimactic, but then the story had a bit of a twist and the ending had a bang.

Totally recommend this to everyone. Very cute Cinderella angle with all the texting and hidden identity.

Clean read. Reader Rated for ages 14 for mild kissing and mild violence. ( )
