I love her depth and how strong she is. Merecot was a good addition to the POVs as well. She has her flaws but she really just wants her people to be safe. I did find Naelin kind of annoying at the beginning of the book. I just couldn't connect with her. I understood in a way her sorrow, but at the same time, just wanted her to buck up and go deal with it. Overall, this was a great conclusion to this series and I can't wait to read more of what Sarah Beth Durst has to offer! The world building here is amazing and the characters are incredibly engaging and unique. I absolutely loved this book and this series as a whole. I was also thrilled to hear that there will be more books set in this amazing fantasy world! Overall this was a fantastic fantasy series as a whole; this book was the perfect ending to it.
