This is super short but a lot of fun! The audio was great, I like the back and forth narration between the main characters. I like that Emily is snarky and even though she hates her job, she still does it very well. Mr. Wolf is always one step ahead of Emily and torments her on purpose. The sexual tension was so good and I loved the story! I wish it were longer. ( )

This is my 100th book of the year and I'm slightly disappointed that it wasn't a win.
And it's such a shame, because this could've been a solid 4 star book. But I'm giving it 2 stars now.

There were some entertaining parts. I sort of liked both characters - though there was some questionable behavior. But at the beginning, I was all in. The story is interesting at the start and you get to know the characters a little bit.

But when things start to really move forward and happen.... the book just skips massive parts.
A lot of the 30 days of their arrangement are missing and of the days we do have, you only get a small portion of the day. I thought there was something wrong with my copy, because there was just no way that this book would wrap up in the remaining pages. But it did.
They go from hating each other, to being madly in love and sleeping together in the span of maybe 20 pages. It's super fast and as a reader, you just don't feel it... because you're never there to witness it!

It is not often that I wish a book would be longer. Usually I think a lot of books are much longer than necessary. But this book? The first part is fine, but the second part feels like you're pressing the fast forward button.

Sadly, this book is a huge missed opportunity.
It may be tme for a new editor or something, who isn't affraid to tell the truth about the lack of connection and story here. ( )
