This book is more geared for a younger audience. This story is teaching readers about the emotion love. It is teaching readers that love is showed in a variety of ways. One of the reasons I really enjoyed this story is because the illustrations in the story does not focus on one specific character. The illustrations are showing different characters that come from different backgrounds. This book is showing what most children see in their everyday life, a diverse community. It is important for readers to be able to relate and see themselves in a story they are reading. This book does a good job with the range of differences between the characters.
