It's sweet and positive and helpful, so my compliments on that! Kids' books are tricky, because parents have to like them enough to buy them but kids have to want to read them over and over. I think early readers would like the blobby Cthulhu you've drawn, and many parents might not even know about Lovecraft.
And of course the source material is beloved: I still tell my kids "Good night, bowl of mush" when they go to bed, and they're all teenagers now.
The book is fun, the art is clean and colorful and well-done. (
