Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Received an ARC at no cost to author..This was the first book I ever read from this author, and that actually shocked me, I am pretty sure this will not be my last. I was kind of upset with myself because even though this is a standalone it really is the second book to a series, so now I have to pick up the first one, no you will not miss anything I just like to reacquaint myself with all characters and it just enlightens me more. Anyhoo, I enjoyed their banter and chemistry and found myself wanting so much more for them. I hope you have a box of tissues because you will need them. These two people suffer and are broken and they need each other. Iris will break your heart and you just want to hold her and be there for her. Read my friends, it is a good book. Enjoy! Walker Williams is my f*ck buddy.I get his carefree smile.I get his inked arms.I get his massive ahem. It¿s the perfect arrangement. The cocky playboy makes me c*me. I hold onto my secrets. No getting lost in his dark eyes. No melting into his soft embrace. No falling head over heels. We¿re playing. That¿s it.I need to think about his lips on my neck, his hands on my skin, his hard body against mine.If he unlocks my heart, if he finds out the truth¿There¿s no way he¿s staying. Walker and Iris. These two, from the moment that met, clicked. Sometimes when you meet someone you just know. Regardless of their baggage or demons, that was the case with these two. Finding out the baggage was just a bump in the road of life. It strengthened their connection.
Addiction is a powerful thing. I am glad the author tackled this subject. ( )
