High School teacher, Maddie Winslow, talks her student out of the gun he brings to school one day only to get more media attention than she has ever wanted. She suddenly feels she is threatened and though she goes to the police they have nothing to offer in the way of assistance. With the help of a friend she finds a protector in Levi “Hawkeye” St. John. There is mutual instant attraction but can it lead to more than a passing fling?

If you are looking for a quick novella to read with a hunky alpha male and a strong female to keep him company then this might be for you. It is easily read as a stand-alone novella. If you are looking for action you will find it mostly in the bedroom without much of the military type at all.
