I was wondering if I would ever find a book on Alma-Tadema. This large-format book has 60 illustrations, 40 in full color. The author wrote the first modern biography of Alma-Tadema (1836 - 1912) in 1973.
Being a typically perfect Abrams production with Ash's always-insightful commentary. As always, a five star rating presupposes that one enjoys the artist. ( )
