Themes of shyness and creativity are shown throughout the story. I loved the illustrations of this book, would love to have this in my future classroom library. Great for students who show a lot of interests in books just like Jane Austen did. This book is a great read for Primary to intermediate. This would also be a great read loud book. This book talks about the great story of Jane Austen. This book goes through how she became the writer she was. This would be a great to encourage students that you can do anything when even when you come from and ordinary home. Jane Austen was once an ordinary young girl who grew up with six brothers and one sister. Her family was very close-knit and loved to play games and put on plays together. Jane loved to read and write. She first started writing plays to make her family laugh and when her brothers moved away for college, she would write them witty letters to put a smile on their face. She loved writing so much that she began to write novels. Eventually, Jane had gotten six novels published, in which four of them were written, "by a lady." Years later, her books are still being read and adored all over the world. The story of Jane Austen is an important one for women everywhere. This story is definitely a must-read for young girls. It is a truth universally acknowledged that Jane Austen is one of our greatest writers. But before that, she was just an ordinary girl. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
