As a young reporter with a lot to prove and a steep climb to the top of the respect of her coworkers, the heroine knows that the only way to achieve these goals is to score an interview with the reclusive hero. He’s the writer of the most popular play since Shakespeare but he never gives interviews. When he meets the beautiful, young woman, he’s enraptured by her vibrant personality and love for life and grants her wish for an interview. They begin a profession relationship but the underlining sexual tensions between the two bring about an affair. He’s mysterious and cultured and worldly so it’s impossible to think a naive young girl such as the heroine can resist him. This is such an old fashion book. Its set in the 80’s and is so bloody cheesy that I really couldn’t take it seriously. It’s an ok book and will probably be a favorite of your mother but it doesn’t hold up with modern times. ( )
