La idea de contar una historia mediante dos personajes en distintas épocas para que al final del libro se descubra el misterio es original. No obstante los personajes no tienen una personalidad y ni tampoco son memorables. La narración es muy plana lo que hace que sea tedioso el leer el libro. Yo no pude terminarlo de lo malo que era. This book was a difficult read for me. Each section of the book contains a different perspective all tied to the same location. I enjoyed some of the stories more than others and found myself wondering why we were sharing in the perspective of some of the characters. I am glad that I stuck with it though. The writing is beautiful and watching the author tie all the different strings up into a bow was a fascinating thing to behold. ( )
