The thing about State of Sorrow is, it's not a book full of action and adventure. Instead, it's a more politically intruiging book with twists and turns at every corner. So, if you're looking for a book full of fighting and wars and such, you will not find it here. I feel like that's what turned some people off of this book, because it is quite a slow book. However, if you're into a book that focuses more on political issues, then do read State of Sorrow. I struggled with it at times, but in the end I enjoyed it a lot. It made me question the characters, made me guess for what was going on and it was actually better than I expected it to be. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

"Sorrow all but rules the Court of Tears, in a land gripped by perpetual grief, forever mourning her brother who died just days before Sorrow was born. By day she governs in place of her father, by night she seeks secret solace in the arms of the boy she's loved since childhood. But when her brother is seemingly found alive, and intent on taking control, Sorrow has to choose whether to step aside for a stranger who might not be who he claims to be, or embark on a power struggle for a position she never really wanted."--Provided by publisher.
