![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Really enjoyed the last installment of the Scythe trilogy, it only lost a star because it didn't end quite how I expected or wanted. The other two books were stronger. Congratz to the author for not having the two main protag's relationship be the biggest thing. 4/5 Would read again. ( ![]() A very satisfying conclusion to one of the most original dystopian series I’ve read. I never could have predicted the events of this last installment or how things would be resolved, and I was delighted with all the surprises. I really grew to love Rowan and Citra over the course of the books, as well as Greyson, Scythe Faraday, Scythe Curie, and of course the Thunderhead. I’m not often in the mood for dystopias lately, but Scythe was on a reading challenge list this year, and then I got sucked in and had to read the whole trilogy as fast as possible. Highly recommended. A very different dystopian world or is it? I really hope there’s another book in this series...a lot of ‘what happens next’ questions. Lots of twists, a couple of love stories, along with cheers and tears were found in this piece of the Arc. It did give a sense of hope, along with my confusion over a few ideas. I would definitely recommend this to readers who favor YA novels. There's nothing for it - this was a let down as an end to a series. Not bad by any means, but it didn't live up to my expectations. In the end, what I most enjoyed was Thunderhead (not surprising considering my love of fictional AI) and the broader concepts the book tried to tackle. I didn't enjoy how anxious this series made me feel, and I think the whole "romance" between Citra and Rowan was completely unnecessary (let's be honest, Rowan as a character was pretty unnecessary). This also got more and more hurried towards the end, and a lot of the plot points in the last third were really rushed. The first book was great, the second was good, and this was okay. The high ratings are mostly for the concepts and the fact that they are rated against other YA scifi. I can't never understand how so many people didn't like this ending. Perfection. Absolutely perfection. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

In the finale to the Arc of a Scythe trilogy, dictators, prophets, and tensions rise. In a world that's conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created? Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him? The answer lies in the Tone, the Toll, and the Thunder.--adapted from publisher's description. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
