Yes, Nicole and Ethan were predictable from start to end and, let me tell this, it's not that Jake and Ava weren't the same, but, I don't know what these Jackson's brothers have, it seems like they are the Prince Charming incarnation. And yes, I know a lot of girls dreams about the biker, but these guys... I think they could satisfy every girl.
Compared to the protagonists of the previous book, Ava and Jake are characterized better. I don't know why maybe it's just because of their relationship that is deeper than the one of Nicole and Ethan.
Ava's strength is just a mask and I felt her so much! And it was terrifying because I hate the old me that was exactly like her.
On the other hand, Jake is the rock of this book. I would have done anything to have my best friend fights for me, for us, like Jake does for Ava.
I really appreciated that the author didn't push the things between them, but at the same time, I think that something went wrong in the timing. For more than half of the book Jake and Ava chase each other, and this is good because you want to keep reading, but then... you arrive where the pieces of the puzzle fit each other and it last just one single chapter before the crash. And, well, I think it could have been better.
Leaving this single thing, I loved so much this book because it left me with a warm feeling inside as if I was just got home. ( )
