No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. dog park story; sweet story ( ) This is the adorable story of Rosie and her person. We begin with their daily routine, and an acknowledgment that Rosie seems somewhat sad...discovered after a particularly active round of "guess the clouds". Her person sees that sadness and knows just what to do...bring some more friends into little Rosie's life and the dog park is the PERFECT place for meetings new friends! Right? Umm, well, yes and no. If you've any notion of childhood, one can not force friends on another, whether they be human or pup, and Rosie is no different. Things certainly get worse before they get better, but once an understanding is reached (like we don't slurp up our friends!), a truce of sorts is called, allowing these former acquaintances to become the chums Rosie's owner knew they could be. The delightful illustrations take us from scene to scene, allowing us to get a full glimpse of Rosie's emotions, interactions, and even that of her potential friends. I loved how her person was determined to bring more joy into Rosie's life. I adored the personalities of both prospective pups and how they both had their own challenges in making friends. It was delightful through and through and I can certainly see kiddos clamoring to read this story over and over again...as well as walking away with a better understanding of just how to make and keep friends. **copy received for review Good Rosie is about a little dog, Rosie, who wants a friend. She eats her kibble and her empty stare looks back at her and then when her and George, her owner, go for a walk she looks at the clouds and a dog shaped cloud stares back at her. Rosie just wants a friend. George brings Rosie to the dog park for something new and she is very nervous because she doesn't know any of the dogs. A big dog wants to play with Rosie and a small dog wants to play with her too. Rosie becomes friends with these two dogs and she always looks forward to playing with them at the dog park. I thought this was a good book. It can be for the beginning of the year because Rosie was nervous to make new friends, but she got up the courage to go talk to the other dogs and then they became friends. This book could teach children that if they want to be friends or play with someone just ask! Ressenya escrita per a Crítics Matiners de LibraryThing . Very sweet book about friendship, embracing new experiences, and doggies. The text and pictures work perfectly together, and Rosie is the cutest dog in the world. As warm and fuzzy as a napping fox terrier, it's a lovely tale that should amuse and delight both children and adults. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Rosie is a good dog and a faithful companion to her owner, George. She likes taking walks with George and looking at the clouds together, but the closest she comes to another dog is when she encounters her reflection in her empty dog bowl, and sometimes that makes Rosie feel lonely. One day George takes Rosie to the dog park, but the park is full of dogs that Rosie doesn't know, which makes her feel lonelier than ever. When big, loud Maurice and small, yippy Fifi bound over and want to play, Rosie's not sure how to respond. Is there a trick to making friends? And if so, can they all figure it out together?
