Wow! I have never read a book by this author before and I can say after reading this book I will definitely be reading more from her. This book was so so good that I read it all in a day and could not put it down. The story of the rock legend Landon and the sweet always trying to be enough Piper was epic. I love rock star books and this one is now in my top 5. Landon was such an awesome and sexy character you can't help but to fall in love with him, flaws and all. Piper aka Pippa was written so well anyone can relate to her need to prove she is enough and try to live up to others expectations. I had so many quotes I saved from the story because it was full of such awesome advice and remarks especially at the end the author's note:

"Piper represents an all too common problem in our society - women clinging to the idea that they have to be perfect to be worthy of love.
No one is perfect.
To everyone reading this note - it is our differences and imperfections that make us who we are. Please, embrace them. Life would be painfully boring if we were all the same." AMAZING this author is a new favorite :) Will leave an amazon review when the book is available on July 17th (

Landon is a walking heartbreak. A playboy with a rocker image, but a lonely heart. Piper was a ray of light in his otherwise dark world. When people continuously treat you like nothing, eventually you start to believe it's true. In a world where image is everything, is it possible to show others the man behind the bad boy image? Leigh is not afraid to expose life at it's most painful. There is more beauty in the hard moments. Only then does strength of character and heart show. Rock Legend is a journey though pain, self-doubt, destruction and survival. Landon and Piper take a road trip through hell to find out what heaven really means. A love sonnet perfectly in tune with the heart. (

Not too big on rock star romances, but this book made the genre alive for me again. Holy smokes, This is was a fantastic ride to be on, and I was so enthralled with the story, with the characters, and the whole book. I didn't want it to end, but yet I was ready for it to end so I could get some sleep. This heartfelt rocker romance is told in dual pov. (

Although I haven't read the first book in this series, it didn't have any negative effect on my reading of this book. You can definitely read Rock Legend as a standalone.
This is a highly satisfying rock star romance. Unashamedly sexy but with a backstory of depth and emotion. A great cast of characters and plenty of twists and drama to keep you turning the pages. Some brilliant turn of phrases and a well thought out plot complete this as an enjoyable read.
