My Recommendation: 16/18 up. My Favorite Character/s: Carly, she went through so much. I would have liked to know more about what happened to her after that ending though. My Verse for Carly is Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. (King James Version.) My Thoughts: This was a book I requested to read through Revell, I haven’t really read any other books by the author but thought I’d give it a try. I liked the book and the ending was unexpected but I was surprised by somewhat lacking spiritual content which disappointed me. In all, it was a really good read. Warnings: This is about human trafficking so there is a good bit of that, a few characters are hurt, and there are a few mentions of drugs. I received this book in exchange for my honest review and am truly happy to provide it – all thoughts are my own. 2.5-2.75 stars (rating shown may differ depending on whether site allows half star ratings. I have read this author previously and even this series previously, but this book never pulled me in. The author starts off with two sisters reuniting--that part did make me care about Carly and I was looking forward to her reuniting with at least part of her family. Instead, Lia dies--so no more family reunion. And from there on, the story just fell flat for me. Carly's niece appears to be 11 or so once the chapters get going--and the "modeling agent" seems to prey more on 17 year olds. So there's a disconnect there, even if Heather, Jenna, and Alexis end up in the same situation. Gigi and Frank aren't sympathetic characters from either Heather/Carly's POV or in how they're trying to manipulate David and Alexis. So it's tough to care about any of them either. Honestly, I found myself avoiding picking up this book and chose to give up on it. Ressenya escrita per a Crítics Matiners de LibraryThing . Wow, what a read, from beginning to end a compelling page turner, you never know from one page to the next what is going to happen.Story could be on the front page, so terrible and it happens all the time, but we put names to these individuals some of whom have been hurt and others the perpetrators of evil. One of our main characters, Carley, had worked hard to put her life back together, by the Grace of God she is functioning and not only that she is now in a position to help those whom have also been betrayed. Surprises abound when the masks come off, and things are revealed, and yes, I guessed some of them, but not all! This is a quick pace book, and you sure won’t be bored! I received this book through LibraryThing, and was not required to give a positive review. Pertany a aquestes sèries

The characters were extremely realistic in their actions and they just had a way that drew the reader to them. Patricia Bradley knows how to balance the past and present within the story to create a masterpiece. The author also did an excellent job of making it difficult to guess the ending until the ending.
Justice Delivered does deal with the harsh reality of human trafficking but she does it in a sensitive way that is not too much for most readers. Nothing is detailed, but I would not recommend this to those who are sensitive to this dark topic.
I do have to mention that the cover appears to be very a very-outdated mass market paperback but I changed my mind after reading about the bracelet. It is something important to the story and I appreciate how the cover reflects that.
All that said, I have a new favorite suspense author and will be looking forward to reading more by Patricia Bradley in the future.
