HBO's Rome is the greatest, most influential TV series ever made. So many great series followed this one's lead, and is usually considered by critics and fans as THE measuring stick for all others. One thing I would like to see forthermore is a long term TV series set in ancient Rome. Maybe from the founding upto the around the time of Emperor Diocletian, when the empire split. Would be a very long term project though. HBO did a good job for the 1st Triumvirate and, who knows, can go further ( )
