Mafia romance is not really my kind of thing. But this one was pretty good. It was hard to take at times. But I actually enjoyed this far more than I expected to. I’m cautiously looking forward to the next book. ( )

I like how the author managed to create a world that seems so real. I read this series out of order for some reason but it was worth it to see how this series started. It is Mafia romance and it is authentic to that lifestyle. It is violent and unforgiving but it is also about loyalty and redemption.

The ending are always so abrupt is usually my biggest complaint about this series because I want more. ( )

I have been waiting for this book for awhile and I read the night it came out but had forgotten to review, bad on me. My heart broke for Fabi, just a boy when his horrible father tried to have him killed. Horrible horrible man I am pretty sure that he will get his because we can not have the series without justice and revenge being served. It killed me when he tried to kidnap Aria, I remember that in lilies book they tried to take him with them but he stayed thinking it would be OK for him so I didn't his anger at his sisters. Leona made me mad, here this guy pays your debts, saves your mother saves you twice and he is the one she is mad at?!?! What your dad sold you he couldn’t care less about you, Fabiao betrays his people!! She finally got a clue. ( )
