Anne Frank was a Jewish teenager in Europe during World War II. This biography tells us about her early life and the struggles she faced when she had to go into hiding because of her religion. This book utilizes various visually appealing text features, such as pictures and captions, instead of just plain text to inform us about Anne Frank's life. The inclusion of a glossary of terms and a timeline makes this a great book for using in a Language Arts and Social Studies classroom. (
