This book is surely food for thought. A gifted little girl, Anna has a lot of interesting ideas and concepts that she discusses with Fynn, the author. One can't help to marvel at what was going on in that little head. I found the book most enjoyable when it came to the little stories about their explorations and acquaintances with other people. Describing events that happened in the 1930, it is amazing to read how Anna and Fynn spent their days and how a little girl explored the world when there was no internet and less distractions than we are faced with today. I think I will revisit this book when I have kids to raise. Anna liebt einfach alles. Und alle lieben Anna. Wow, what an interesting and intelligent child Anna is! She is found by Fynn one night in London and his family accepts her as one of their own. She has been beaten so now poor Anna is safe. Fynn finds that this amazing child loves the Lord, Mister God, with a pure love. This book actually gets a little deep and philosophical for me. But what an amazing child, whose life is unfortunately cut short. A cross between old London and Jostein (Sophie's World) Gaarder, this book is all about exploring the world with a fresh mind again. Cups of tea, infinite mirrors, and a healthy mistrust of authority all rolled into one. Great read. FYNN ENCUENTRA A ANNA (5 AÑOS) QUE NO QUIERE VOLVER A CASA. SE LA LLEVA A VIVIR CON ÉL Y AMBOS DESCUBREN LA VIDA. PARA ANNA EL "SEÑOR DIOS" ES SU CENTRO, ES UN DIOS PERSONAL, NADA TRADICIONAL Y SU MUNDO TAMBIÉN ES IRREAL. Anna was four years old when Fynn, then only 16 himself, found her wandering round London's Docklands one foggy night in the 1930s. Badly neglected and abandoned by her parents, he took her home to be cared for by his own family. The impact of this extraordinary child on Fynn, his friends and the people in their neighbourhood was to be immense. Nobody who met Anna could remain the same: this intelligent, lively, precocious chatterbox had an outlook on life which completely undercut adult pretensions and illusions. Anna's influence continues today. Anyone dipping into her thought-processes falls under the spell of her luminous innocence, wisdom and intimate relationship with 'Mister God'.
