THE INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! Starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews * Publishers Weekly * Library Journal Named a "Must-Read" by TODAY, Us Weekly, Bustle, BuzzFeed, Goodreads, Entertainment Weekly, Publishers Weekly, Southern Living, Book Riot, Woman's Day, The Toronto Star, and more! For two sworn enemies, anything can happen during the Hawaiian trip of a lifetime--maybe even love--in this romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling authors of Roomies. Olive Torres is used to being the unlucky twin: from inexplicable mishaps to a recent layoff, her life seems to be almost comically jinxed. By contrast, her sister Ami is an eternal champion . . . she even managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a slew of contests. Unfortunately for Olive, the only thing worse than constant bad luck is having to spend the wedding day with the best man (and her nemesis), Ethan Thomas. Olive braces herself for wedding hell, determined to put on a brave face, but when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning, the only people who aren't affected are Olive and Ethan. Suddenly there's a free honeymoon up for grabs, and Olive will be damned if Ethan gets to enjoy paradise solo. Agreeing to a temporary truce, the pair head for Maui. After all, ten days of bliss is worth having to assume the role of loving newlyweds, right? But the weird thing is . . . Olive doesn't mind playing pretend. In fact, the more she pretends to be the luckiest woman alive, the more it feels like she might be. With Christina Lauren's "uniquely hilarious and touching voice" (Entertainment Weekly), The Unhoneymooners is a romance for anyone who has ever felt unlucky in love.… (més)

This was so nice! A very good romance :)) Both of the main characters were likeable, and it was hard to put down! Moved nice and quickly, was quite funny and quirky, read like a good, classic 90s rom com movie. Good pacing too, lingered in certain settings for a good amount of time, and time-jumped just when you wanted it to. The romance made me feel quite mushy too, which is just what you want! Very much enjoyed. ( )

Olive Torres considers herself an unlucky woman until her luck changes overnight. At her twin sister Amelia's wedding, all the guests end up sick from food poisoning except for Olive and Ethan, the brother of the groom. Too unwell to go on her honeymoon, Amelia asks Olive to go on the trip with Ethan. Olive accepts even though she and Ethan can’t stand each other. What ensues is an engaging mix of romance, comedy, and drama. This could be your next light book club read! ( )

I read this for a Book Voyage Read Around the World challenge, to cover April's goal of a book that takes place on an island. This book takes place on Hawaii. One of a set of identical twins gets married, but the entire wedding party and guests fall immediately ill from some tainted shellfish, except for 2 people, the identical twin Olive and the groom's brother Ethan. These 2 hate each other, but when the sick bride and groom insist, they go on the nonrefundable Hawaiian honeymoon together. You can probably figure out the rest of the book. It was entertaining in a mild way; the end of the book was much better than the first 2/3's of it since some more serious issues come to light that must be handled. ( )

In the calm before the storm---in this case, the blessed quiet before the bridal suite is overrun by the wedding party---my twin sister stares critically down at a freshly painted shell-pink fingernail and says, "I bet you're relieved I'm not a bridezilla."
