Great story but a little slow moving. ( )

A chilling thriller and at the same time a heart warming story!
A bit heavy on the 'humans are destroying the Earth' meme, the one guy that wasn't on the eco train turned out to be a bad guy... ( )

As Mitch Matthews and his five-year-old daughter Lilly check-in for a flight from Hong Kong to New York over the North Pole, odd characters are already being introduced in curious incidents.

Then as the book blurb notes:
"A flight disappears over the North Pole. No distress calls. Vanished into thin air."

What happens is a well balanced matter of conjecture and innuendo with international and individual tensions rising as each page is turned to the very end.

To me, this is one of the better eco-thrillers I've read in a good while, and I read a lot. Buckle up, there's turbulence and mayhem on this flight, all realistic enough to give you goosebumps.

Read it in one day!

Good plot, pacing, and facts to be learned. A good survival story with plenty of surprises to suck you in. Enjoy! ( )
