The story of a Social Worker and one of his charges that he falls for. She is a month from being 18 when they acknowledge their feelings. He wants to help her, and she wants to become the adopted mother of the now two-year old girl she was placed in foster care with when the girl was an infant.

Not taboo but not quite socially acceptable. Except this takes place in K Websters "Taboo Town" where the unwritten rules of life are the older men/women getting with the barely legal students, babysitters, handymen, patients, etc. Always filled with romance, never anything coerced or forced. ALWAYS an HEA, more often than not, babies and weddings at the end. Always an epilogue that covers the next couple of years showing that the HEA stuck. ( )

Interesting romance. The insta love was a bit too shallow for me. Not a bad read but not a book that will stay in my head for long. ( )

Ahh, another Taboo Treat and I'm a happy reader. It doesn't take much, just K Webster's words, a good story, and some good old dirty fun.

So, Jenna is a foster child and when she's 16, her foster parents put a screaming banshee baby into her room. Jenna ends up taking care of her for the next 2 years, and they move from foster family to foster family together. Then, Jenna is almost 18, and just about to age out of the system and leave her sweet Cora behind.

Enzo is the caseworker who is trying to make sure that Jenna and Cora are safe, and is fascinated by Jenna, but until she's 18, she's totally offlimits for so many reasons.

We've seen a couple of scenes in this book from other POVs, so it was nice to see the same thing through Jenna and/or Enzo's eyes. It gives a really nice effect for the whole series, and ties the books together, which again, very nice. And there are enough stories here that they are really starting to interconnect a lot and you can see where the timelines of the other books are going on at the same time that this one is. It's really nice.

I love Jenna and Enzo's story. It's happy, sweet, sad, and maddening all at once and I couldn't get enough of it. I'm looking forward to the next Taboo Treat. ( )
