Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I love this series and I love this book. Gage the gentle giant and Beth the perfect, tiny h were great characters with a lot of heat and chemistry. This was a great read and addition to the series. I love the secondary characters to- Amanda had me laughing out loud a few times so did the couples from the last 2 Rough Riders books. Great read- definitely recommend. Wicked Player (Rough Riders, #3) by Stacey Lynn   He's a player on and off the field. Football star Gage Bryant can't keep his hands to himself when it comes to Elizabeth Hayes and that just may get him burned. He's got his secrets, she has a few of her own, but the attraction they share is hard to contain. Can the couple with everything to lose, risk having more than either dreamed possible. Wicked Player is a saucy tale of lust, love and football. Lynn throws a touchdown with this sassy temptation. Stacey Lynn scores a touchdown with WICKED PLAYER, the third book in the Rough Riders series. Football wide receiver Gage Bryant has a reputation to uphold; he pays a lot of money to The Velvet Club for their non-disclosure agreements to have his secret kept that he is a dominant. Imagine his surprise when the submissive he can’t stop thinking about has been assigned to follow the opening of his new Children’s Hospital Family Center. This story takes place in Raleigh and is suitable for adult audiences. Stacey Lynn does an amazing job with this book. Her character development and plot are skillfully executed. I like Elizabeth Hayes and Gage. They are both members of The Velvet Club to help maintain their privacy and reputations. They are both public figures with a lot to lose if their lifestyles were discovered. They are both honorable and hardworking. The plot was clever and heartfelt. I like that Elizabeth doesn’t know that Gage is the Dom from The Velvet Club, due to being blindfolded. Since she is an inquisitive investigative reporter, it made an interesting angle. I thought it was clever how her ex-boyfriend, Connor Hopkins, played into the story. I like Gage’s reason for supporting the children’s hospital. I loved Gage’s and Elizabeth’s relationship with Brandon Miller. My heart broke for that little boy and his family. WICKED PLAYER was a thought-provoking read. It was believable and inspiring. This was the first book that I have read in the rough rider series. I had no problem following the story, and I am interested in reading additional books in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

HTML: As wide receiver for the Rough Rider's football team, I have the best hands... on and off the field. I also have a secretâ?? one I would do anything to protect. An airtight NDA keeps my membership to Club Velvet, and my need for dominance private. Exercising control, needing it... craving it even, serves me well under the lights on the field and over a willing woman in the bedroom. Imagine my surprise when the latest partner to be blindfolded and bound beneath me, is also the reporter assigned to me. By day Elizabeth Hayes follows me around, capturing my good deeds and by night I capture her breathy moans, as I do wicked things to her. One story is all it would take to destroy my career. So I use my magic hands and give her all the pleasure she begs for, in a way that I crave, keeping our identities sidelined. She might trust me to dominate her body, but I'm not sure I can trust her with the truth... or my heart. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

The way that Gage and Elizabeth met was different to the first two books which is amazing. Gage did end up liking Elizabeth from the very start as did Elizabeth when she saw him, but neither of them wanted to take it any further due to their job. Well, not take it any further in public and Gage wanted to keep it a secret to Elizabeth so he could do his events and Elizabeth could work without either of them being distracted. That was my impression of his attitude truly towards the situation at hand.
Their relationship, now their relationship is a difficult one to figure out completely. Like I have previously mentioned, so many turns and you never thinkthat what you truly thought would happen is what happened (make sense?). I absolutely loved their relationship throughout he story from chapter 3, when they are both truly involvedto the epilogue, throughout the whole story I was, and still am, in love the couple. It wasa rollarcoaster relationship with not knowing if Elizabeth knew who he was and Elizabeth thinnking he was then thinkingh e wasn't. They both had completely loads of things running through their minds about the other. When Gage finally came out and said about who he was, it wasn't how you would think he'd come out and tell her, but a different way - read to find out - was where their, I know you and I think I know you relationship had developed to I know you and I know you and we're together now. It as amazing how their love grew through the story, it was so beautiful and you could feel the passion they had for each other.
Every couple and have disagreements, so reading about it in a story isn't very surprising. The first confrontation after they started to develop a true relationship could really get on a readers nerves. It had frustrated me, not on the story itself, but because of the way I was able to picture the scenes in my mind very clearly and I felt Elizabeth's feelings and tha is how it annoyed me. I get very in touch with characters, it is unbelievable.
The epilogue was so beautiful it is unreal. This type of story, when it isjust one book has to have an epilogue that is so beautiful and moving it makes you awe just at the words you read.
I really had trouble putting this book down, I never wanted to stop reading it, stupid work for making me not be allowed to read a book in work hours. UNFAIR. ( )
