Everyone would talk about him and he was all over the news. Nate Tortoise was tired of hearing about Lever Lapin and challenged him to a race. When it was time for the race, the pistol was fired and Lever Lapin took off. Lever Lapin was in the lead until he stopped for a bite to eat and to show off in front of some of his fans. That is when Nate Tortoise passed him up and won the race. I really like how this story shows that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. ( ) This is a picture book about a rabbit that is racing and is very confident about himself and ends up losing because he is so cocky. This book reminds me of The Tortoise and The Hair and it has the same morals and beliefs in this book. I would use this in my classroom because I do think the book has a good concept and theme to the book. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Retells the traditional tale of the tortoise and the hare as a match between the very vain Lever Lapin and Nate Turtle, who is tired of all of the publicity Lever's speed generates. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
