Finding Faith in Christ :

As with most filmed depictions of Christ, you have to already know the story and recognize the incidents, which are drawn primarily from the miracles of healing, but also include the two episodes with the disciples in a ship, and the woman taken in adultery.

The nativity is shown very briefly, as the emphasis is on the ministry, atonement, crucifixion, and resurrection, as seen through the testimony (imagined) of Thomas the Apostle to his family.

The scenery (on location somewhere), acting, and cinematography are all excellent. The staging deliberately recreates a number of paintings that are well-known to members of the Churh of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and may be all or mostly by Del Parson. ( )
