![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. With every volume, Alice Oseman makes herself a bigger place in my heart. The journey and Nick and Charlie is beautiful and I love that the series isn't just about them and we get to know a lot about their friends and their relationships while also dipping into some important struggles that teenagers face like anorexia and bullying. It's beautiful and I love it. Can't wait to read volume 4. ( ![]() *See Volume 1 review for initial series thoughts* **Contains Spoilers - Volume 3* Volume 3 starts us into "new" territory if you've seen the show because we have left the events of Season 1 behind. This volume has a few key things that I hope we see in the upcoming season 2. We see Nick re-connecting with some of his rugby friends who are actually supportive and nice (unlike the horrid Harry Green), and then we start to actually dig into some of the more serious topics addressed in this series. We hear more about the origins of Charlie's bullying of the previous year, and the extent to which it hurt him, including some mentions of self harm. We also see the start of Nick realizing Charlie has an eating disorder and Nick navigating the hard line between wanting to help and realizing he can't be the only part of the solution. On a positive note, the school Paris trip is a fun bonding experience for the group, and has the first official time that Nick comes out to a wider group of school friends. We also hear a bit more about Aled (replaced in the show by new character Issac), and even see the beginnings of a teacher romance. The first two volumes are really focused on lovely, positive, first love kinds of feelings, and in volume 3 we start to actually dig into what being in a committed relationship means. It's not just about the good and easy times, it's also about navigating the tough times and finding out if they bring you closer together or tear you apart. I am happy to say that Nick and Charlie are better together This book has a little more depth to it, talking more about the backstory of the characters and how they got to be where they are now. It depicts struggles that can happen to anyone in any relationship. 4.5 my fav volume so far, wish i had a group of friends like they do Still a super cute series! I like how it can touch on tough subjects while still remaining overall lighthearted. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

"Charlie didn't think Nick could ever like him back, but now they're officially boyfriends. Nick has even found the courage to come out to his mom. But coming out isn't something that happens just once, and Nick and Charlie try to figure out when to tell their friends that they're dating. Not being out to their classmates gets even harder during a school trip to Paris. As Nick and Charlie's feelings get more serious, they'll need each other more than ever."--Provided by publisher.
