Owen is the brother of Elise Parrish and NHL teammate/best friend of Justin Brady Playing for Keeps (Hot Jocks #1 ). This novel takes place in Seattle. It is suitable for adult readers. I adored this story. Owen and Becca start out as friends. Becca is Owen’s little sister Elise’s best friend, so Becca was off limits. Owen never thought of Becca as anything else until she approaches him and asks for help getting back into dating. Then his protective streak takes over, and their chemistry is off the charts. Owen is really great with Becca. He helps her overcome a tragedy from her past. He was a serial dater until he helps Becca. He begins to realize he wants more. Kendall Ryan did a fantastic job with this novel. It was skillfully written and endearing. All the Way can be read as a stand-alone. However, Owen and Becca are in book one a lot, so I do suggest reading it first. Plus, Playing for Keeps was a really great book. I’m looking forward to Teddy and Sara’s story next in Trying to Score (Hot Jocks #3). I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. And well, it was just a convenient plot device to go friends to lovers without having too long to develop. And I didn't like the discussion of women in this book, I didn't enjoy a lot of it. And I won't be picking up Ryan's books again. I ended up asking just a shit ton of the in between. And the sex scenes. It was just boring. Quit at 85% (
