Y the Last Man is one of my favourite stories, so I guess this story had a lot to live up to. This one was far too super-hero for my liking, and much of the storylines were cut up that they didn't flow like a graphic novel. Perhaps it is one best read in individual comic parts. Violent, and with characters killed off. It had more politics and guns in it than science, describing the slow transition from hero to political opportunist. I felt more could have been made of the origins of the super-powers, rather than the more focused use of them. Still I'm glad to have read it, and the art was brilliant.
